I have a complete Corsa exhaust system I took off my 2004 XLR. Has about 6000 miles on it, it’ll never rust out —all stainless steel. Put original back on, neighbors complaining about noise—-close community. PITAS!! Original cost about $2000, easy on/off, about 2 hours labor. Pain to ship. Taking offers, lets talk!

Do you have Sport or Touring? Cause if you’ve got touring, then you also have some really sensitive ears in your neighborhood! :chuckle I have touring on mine & it’s nowhere close to as loud as most of the aftermarket exhausts I hear... (unless you’re absolutely flooring it at all times)

Dand, You are a great neighbour. I have the Corsa Sport on my car and no way it would be coming off. As a matter of fact I plan on putting the same system on another vehicle in the Spring when I return home. Good luck selling your system.

Don’t know if it’s Sport or touring—came on car up from FL. Believe me, I didn’t want to take it off the car—-I don’t feather the throttle—-loved the sound, but car around town heavily populated, and I have a distinctive letter vanity license plate, and I don’t think there are 10 of these in all of RI. Too easy to find me or report me. Only way to drive these cars is with top down, and passing everything in front of you. Nothing like pulling up to a car in the next lane, goosing it, and knowing they’re *****ing at an old man with his latest toy. All in all, I’m a responsible driver, only occasionally getting into 3 digit territory. But, back to selling, I’m really not sure I want to sell the system, it’s put away in the attic, I may want to keep it and put it back on. The only reason I’m considering it, is the fact that I’ve put $8 Gs into the car since I bought it—-4 shocks, new power steering shaft, complete rebuild of bottom end of Northstar, I hate oil leaks—-still have to replace front camshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, and go back to run flats. This is my seventh Caddy, hopefully not my last, but it’s going to be the most expensive car I’ve ever owned to maintain. Raven black, hand washed it once, never a car wash, California car duster and Maguires, always covered in heated garage. I think my ‘10 STS V6 can beat it off the line, at least up to the 60’s before the XLR blows by it.

Great idea in keeping the exhaust. If the amount of noise it produces is legal I would have it back on in no time. Remember there are a lot of jealous people out there that don't want others to have nice "stuff". On another note I live in the California desert in the winter and there is lots of dust and sand blowing around. I have stopped using a California duster. I have been told it scratches and I believe they are right. I hose the car down really well and dry with a microfiber. It doesn't take much more time than using a duster. Something to think about.
