On our 2005 directly behind and slightly above the battery, on the passenger side of the firewall is a long skinny panel door for the replaceable cabin filter. You may want to clean or replace the filter and make sure the door panel is in tight and correctly sealed off from any motor area fumes...

Sometime the inside connector plates get corroded and just cleaning them makes them work like new again. Take units off door with 2 screws, then remove 6 small screws on back side, I cleaned my with a light abrasive scrub pad. They work like new again, see pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got rid of mine last spring, personally to me it handles better, as for the ride, it’s about the same, maybe a bit more ridge and little stiffer! The cost is probably at least, half the cost of doing the mag shocks again! My 2nd pair of originals mags shocks didn’t even hold up for 50 thousand...
