Serial and registry update?

Good afternoon!

Two questions about the registry. Is the serial the last four digits of the VIN?

Is there a form I can submit to update the registry? Happy to contribute to make sure the info for my car is up to date.

Yes on the vin. Not sure how to update. Ive sent many emails on cars listed on sites for sale That had no information on registry but none got updated so im not sure.

Go to registry, pull up your car by year and vin number, click on "profile", then in the header bar there is a place to "update this XLR". Click on that, I believe that's how you do it, but it may have to be approved by the site administrator once your done. I think that's right but I'm going from memory, it's been a while since I have done this.
