XLR driving music

Yea, I can do Queen....and Doobie Bros, Blondie, Boston....Can you believe I took my 14 year old son to a Queen concert and he's gonna be 40 next week! And I still know most of the words.

Yes, I can...you're a cool mom!:rocker:

Mom yes, cool? Not too! My son ended going the way of the Grateful Dead....I never became a Deadhead. Now he and his wife (and kids) follow Phish around. Do you think I've missed something good.:dunno:

No, I've never liked either of those bands. And you are cool... You drive an XLR.

I don't mind Truckin and Casey Jones
Forgot about Truckin'....pretty mellow stuff. Casey Jones.....don't think so. Early 70's were a llllllllllooooonnnnngggggg time ago!

Amazing .... I can almost guess everyone's age just by what they listen to .... music really plays a part of our 'growin' up years' ....... I mean, really, come on .... I listen to ELVIS !

Elvis or the Eagles

RA I am with you. My XM lives on channel 18 for Elvis. Some times Eagles on the Ipod or
CD's. When wife drives or rides its XM 11 16 or 17 for country.

Q: What does a deadhead say when he runs out of pot?
A: Shesh, this music stinks.

Well, heck, then Channel 18 it will be ....! :rocker:

Don't know what channel it is, but I've got Willie's Place programmed ...

Haha .... no Abba fans??? (Well ... me.)

Bruce (not the Tech) .....:laugh::laugh:

Thats the nice thing about having your car set up for an IPOD. I have a 160GB and believe me it holds a lot of music. :D

Speedway:)

Not to get into a "mine is bigger than yours" discussion, but my CarPC has 500GB internal and an external 1TB in the glove compartment.

Sorry, couldn't resist.... I'll go back to sleep now.

Did I mention Internet Radio and YouTube - the world is my playlist. :naughty:

Wow ... how far we've come .... my first PC had a 30 MG hard drive and the salesman swore I would never outgrow it ;)

Love the "Oldies", Country, Jazz, Some Classical. It all sounds good in an XLR!!:):):) John

I'm with Chicago Dave & RA....love ABBA!!! And Billy Joel and Elton John. Oh heck, Cold Play too, about the only current music I hear. And then back in time to REO SpeedWagon, Tommy James and on and on.

RA, you'll have to hang with JR, Willie's place follows him wherever he goes. I can only take so much of it, prefer XM 16 & 17. XM radio has opened up an unending world of music, have it on the TV most of the day.

I guess the reason I never got the Grateful Dead, is I missed out on the pot thing....led a sheltered life. Bruce, I'll have to pass that joke onto my son.

My favorite two songs, especially with the top down, are Motley Crue - kick start your heart, or Queen - I want it all.
