Driver hurt in one-car crash

British Columbia - A 38-year-old South Surrey resident was injured in single vehicle collision Saturday morning.
Police say the man was driving east in the 13900 block of 29 Avenue – a cul-de-sac – around 11:30 a.m. when he apparently lost control of his Cadillac XLR.
The car went off the south side of the road and across 100 metres of garden rocks and grass, before driving into a tree.
The man was taken to hospital with back and head injuries. He also suffered cuts to his head and face.
Investigation is ongoing.
