locked in car on start up!
if the transponder in the trunk area fails, at least 20 have done it, you will be locked in the car, permanently. Solution, open the glove compartment, insert the fob in the big slot in the top back left, everything will unlock and the car can start. Advice, drive your XLR to the nearest GM...- maddog

Parts No Longer in Production
Glad, ha, ha, to see my dud sensor for my 2004, is on your list of the discontinued. The car died just as I was about to put it in the garage. At that point everything died and locked me in the car. Thank heavens my wife phone the Caddie dealer for the trick to get out. If it happens to you open...- maddog
