I'm not for sure. More than likely it wouldn't work since there was a lot of changes from the 04/05 series to the 06 on up even trying to program it with the Tech II
Proud 2 XLR owner 2005 Speed Racer XLR Champagne purchased from Streetside Cars Dallas and number 2 at Hennings from a dealer in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Article in Hennings called Gentleman's Express in car couture section.
Mickey you seem to be the Joe Alexander of XLR's. If You Look up Joe on the SL 113 Mercedes website he is one of the most knowledgeable ,helpful, kindness, person anyone owning a Pagoda Mercedes needs know. Great to have people like you always willing to help.Joe is the same.

Thanks i appreciate that. When i first started my boss told me i was here to learn and share. If i could not learn he did not need me if i was not willing to share with other employees he did not need me.
I have used my tech2 to help another XLR owner and I use to live in Grosse Ile Mi. but moved to Florida 3 years ago or I could scan it for you, sorry. Where do you live?

I’m in the Toledo/Detroit area - if you were still in Grosse Isle that would have been perfect haha. Thank you for the offer! I’ll make the investment in a unit ASAP. I can see it’s going to be a must-have for owning this car.

My wife and I lived in the downriver area our whole life until we moved to Florida and we miss the boating from our back yard in Grosse Ile but we don't miss shoveling snow. We have already made two trips back this summer visiting family and friends. Good luck and let me know if I can help.
Do you have:
1. #15839086 - 20822687 Exhaust Flow Control Module
2. #15813086 - 25840734 - 25979048 roof control Module

Thanks
Dennis,

Contact MickeyTee at XLR.Net regarding the Fuel Level Sender Readings you get on your car. He seems to know something about these being "reversed" on the 06-09 cars.

Hal, you still active? You would be the closest XLR owner to me, Cornville. Let me Know

I am! I live in the Prescott Lakes Area of Prescott. Red 2009 XLR. I often go to Prescott Cars & Coffee at Gateway Mall, although not always with the XLR.
Mickey good afternoon. You worked on my Xlr late last year in TN. It’s now in Florida and having trouble with my top. “Top not secure” message and will not raise. It’s in the open position. Any recommendation for a shop in Florida that might be able to help or will a Cadillac dealer be able to.?
Hi Everybody
I am a new member looking for an XLR 2009 power steering pump from what I see mickeytee have some How can I buy one from you
Thanks
Dennis, see the thread in this forum...

I think this guy knows a little something. Doesn't answer my question about the "Off" state to the Fuel Pump but it's leading in the right direction.

Rob, I just tried the search function regular and advanced. Is there a problem?
It did not work for me. Is there a new way to search after moving to a new ??????

Yes, I know. The website was migrated to a new server over the weekend, and we're trying to iron out some issues. The Tech Support team at the hosting company is looking into the search functionality issue.
Thanks for the notes you entered on the start button replacement in 2015. It is 2023 and I will be going thru the same process and will use your notes as well as the other gentlemen's who was so thorough in his instructions. My local Cadillac dealer didn't want to work on it. I have the 7mm and tape ready. Wish me luck.

You're referring. to C.C. Clarke, a veritable library of all things XLR. He was here when I joined.
Just added the 2005 XLR to the stable. 1992 and 1993 Allante’s plus 1975 and 1979 Hurst Olds

Hey MTrocket,

I just purchased a Cadillac XLR and looking to replace the Fender insulator (The piece that sits behind the Fender) I noticed it's glued on and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of glue is used and the process to keep it in place to be glued?
