I purchased a Tech 2 and did a column calibration and that solved the problem. It's been working fine ever since. I'm not sure you have the same problem, mine stopped working altogether when I used the xtool. It's not a good choice for our cars. The Tech 2 is worth a try, I'm no expert with it but it's helped me a lot and it's just fun to play with. Good luck

Yes, body control, driver position module, special functions, column calibration. That worked for me, good luck.
