I ran one 252,000 without any oil changes or issues. Your mileage may vary, but I don’t think it’s an issue for most.

Maybe the top center latch isn’t locking the top down or one of the two micro switches at the center latching mechanism is going bad.

It’s the top unlatch cylinder hoses the tend to leak up under the headliner where the roof folds.

I had this issue after changing the battery. Disconnected the battery cables and held both cable ends together for a few minutes. Reconnected to battery and trunk worked again. “Your mileage my very”😁

Side question on the D7, have you been able to do a top relearn with it?

The LEDs in the switches burn out. I’ve changed mine couple of times. You have to replace the entire switch modules. They use to sell for about 19$ new but can be very difficult to fine anymore. Enjoy it.

I read that when the V came out in 06, they had problems with the wheels zebra wood cracking due to the heated steering wheel. So the produced without the wood trim till they came up with a solution in 08 I believe. Supposedly they offered a discount or to replace the steering wheels at a future...

I’ve fixed mine a couple of times. I would say first thing to check is if you have 12 volts on gray wire on the small connector on the module with the car running. It has 1or 2 wires in it. If you have 5volts then the module is good. If not then check fuse, or is there a mild to wild module...

Congrats. I also have an 07v. Love it. Read the owners manual several times.

I know mine read 75 constantly when the sensor was disconnected. So bad sensor or maybe wiring open/short?
