mechanic says I need a roof limit switch whatever that is. not sure thats the correct name for the part but its part of the top mechanism. one of the three switches that handle opening and closing

so I have the usual top issue with a switch that cannot be located. the roof limiter switch they say. anyway has anyone figured out a way to modify or rig something to make it work or am I stuck with a nice hardtop?
